About Francisco de Nata
Francisco de Nata is a silent clown show featuring audience interaction, puppetry and a very special Portuguese custard tart. The show follows a giraffe in a G-string who has been tasked with painting a ceiling. As the clock ticks and the paint dries, his world unravels into beautiful chaos, and a tender and ridiculous story unfolds about the giraffe's love for his Avó (grandma). Filled with nonsense, vulnerability and wonder, this is a playful 60-minute journey. Audience participation is involved; suitable for ages 14 and over.
Why see this show?
A silent clown show that is genuinely tender and absurd in equal measure — puppetry, audience interaction and a Portuguese custard tart combine in a warm, wordless 60-minute piece about a giraffe and his grandma.
