Harrison Sweeney is an Australian circus performer and theatre maker who created Final Queen alongside co-creator Rachel Kerry. The show puts drag circus queen Grace Lightning behind the wheel of a hot pink Holden Commodore, screeching through the Outback on a road trip from Sydney to Darwin. What follows is a 60-minute solo spectacle of acrobatics, hula hooping, swift wig changes and multi-character storytelling, blending horror film tropes — drawing on Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Wolf Creek — with drag culture and queer joy into a genre-mashing horror-comedy.
