About The Scottish Gallery
The Scottish Gallery presents two complementary exhibitions exploring nature, environment and human experience. Visual artist Kate Downie's Grasslands examines the overlooked beauty and ecological significance of the plant world beneath our feet. Australian-based ceramicist Stephen Bird investigates entanglements between environment, place and human experience in circular thoughts. Together these two distinct artistic voices offer a rich meditation on the natural world and our relationship with it.
