About the show
Extra Dry is a 60-minute dark comedy and new writing piece performed by Michelle Renee Johnson, produced by A/Park Productions, at the Willow Studio. The show follows MJ as she dives headfirst into a chaotic and destructive romance with alcohol, driven by a deep need for validation. As nights spiral and blackouts escalate, the stories she collects become her legacy — memorable to others but hazy or non-existent to herself. The show is directed by O'Neill finalist Lila Rachel Becker and is suitable for audiences aged 14 and over.
Why see this show?
A solo performer takes us into dark, sometimes dangerous nights and asks a question that lingers long after the show ends: is it better to be remembered, even unflattering, or to fade into obscurity? Sharp, honest new writing directed by an O'Neill finalist.
