Edinburgh Renaissance Band presents a varied selection of instrumental and vocal music spanning from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. The troupe of eleven musicians, fronted by musical director Murray Campbell, showcases a large range of period instruments including shawms, cornetti, sackbuts, nakers, viols, fiddles, crumhorns, gemshorns, bells, bagpipes, racketts and a serpent. Suitable for all ages, the show closes with audience members invited to take a closer look at the instruments.
