About Beldon Haigh
Beldon Haigh is a Scotland-based rock band created by Justin Skelton, whose work combines satire, protest and social commentary through intricate live arrangements. Dystopia 26: The Rock Opera is their full-scale theatrical rock production, a two-part immersive spectacle running 110 minutes in which audiences are cast as citizens of a fictional authoritarian state. Performed as if from prison by disgraced spin doctor Beldon Haigh and arsonist Helen Raiser, the show drives through martial law, election and a cult of happiness with monstrous masks of world leaders, 14 original songs spanning rock, punk, jazz and funk, and a ferocious live band.
