About Mark McAuley
Mark McAuley presents Diary of a Mad Man, a darkly comic one-man drama adapted from Nikolai Gogol and relocated to contemporary Ireland. The show traces the psychological collapse of a corporate worker whose status craving mutates into obsession. Consumed by race, hierarchy and fixation on his CEO's daughter, his inner voice grows seductive, persuasive and lethal. As reality fractures, the audience becomes trapped inside his reasoning, forced to confront how ambition corrodes identity and madness feels disturbingly justified. Running 60 minutes at Roxyboxy, age guidance 16 and over.
Why see this show?
A one-man show that pulls you inside a disintegrating mind with uncomfortable precision. Adapted from Gogol but very much of our time — dark, funny and deeply unsettling.
