Deluge is a physical theatre show by Gabi Flares and Andrea Maciel, performed at Big Belly as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Inspired by a break-up and over 40 interviews gathered via a social media call-out, it follows a woman trying to contain the overflow of her thoughts after a relationship ends. She ends up stuck in a ladder, fighting against komodo dragons, house leaks, holes and jam jars that only seem to multiply. A magic realist spin on grief, blurring imagination with real stories in a surreal, tender and humorous dreamscape. Suitable for ages 12+; runs for 60 minutes.
