Google Triple Lutz ProductionsAbout the show
Triple Lutz Productions presents this dark comedy by an amateur company at Studio, Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Set in the early teens of this century, four teenage figure skaters rehearse for their annual holiday show under the supervision of their bizarre and obsessive coach. They pray to Michelle Kwan as their god. In the locker room, the girls navigate friend drama, twerking and IBS. When a blizzard traps them in the ice rink, reality warps and their prayers turn into violent rituals. A dark comedy about the beauty, violence and camaraderie of girlhood in hyper-competitive spaces. Runs for 50 minutes, suitable for ages 12 and over.
Why see this show?
A dark comedy that earns its strangeness — girlhood, ambition and a blizzard converge on a rink where Michelle Kwan is a deity. Sharp, original new writing from Triple Lutz Productions.
