Deage Paxton: Dead Man's Hand is a free choose-your-own-adventure stand-up show at The Loft at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. There is no setlist and no safety net. In 1876, Wild Bill Hickok was gunned down holding the winning hand: Aces and Eights. After 15 years headlining The Stand and supporting Tom Stade, Carl Hutchinson and Ria Lina, Paxton puts his winning hand on the table. The audience controls the axis, choosing from 100 jokes across a spectrum from sharp banker comedy to pitch-black filth. No two shows are the same — the audience curates the chaos.
