About Crazy Little Sing Called Pub

Crazy Little Sing Called Pub is a crowd-participatory sing-along show from the professional company of the same name, performed at The Speakeasy as part of Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The audience becomes the choir — learning a pop or rock anthem in gorgeous harmonies in only an hour, with lyrics on a big screen and guitar accompaniment. The show guides, cajoles and if necessary heaves every voice in the room into a harmonised pop-up choir, and films the result. It runs for 70 minutes, is for adults aged 18 and over, and involves audience participation throughout.

Why see this show?

You do not need to be able to sing. That is the whole point. Crazy Little Sing Called Pub turns a room of strangers into a harmonised choir in 70 minutes, and then plays it back to them. It is interactive, immediate and — if the description is to be believed — genuinely surprising when it works.
