Attila the Stockbroker and John Otway revive their rock opera for its thirty-fifth anniversary, first performed at the 1991 Fringe. An everyday tale of Satanism, trainspotting, drug abuse and unrequited love set on a station platform, based on Otway's song Cheryl's Going Home. Attila narrates in stentorian Chaucerian verse while Otway responds in song, and the mysterious MC Trainspotter also makes an appearance. A free event at the Back Cave, running 60 minutes. Age guidance 18+.
Why see this show?
A truly unique Fringe curiosity: spoken Chaucerian verse meets rock song in a station-platform tale of love, Satanism and Slough. Free entry makes this an easy pick for the adventurous.
