Set in Andalucia in 1936, Bull / Fight follows a travelling theatre company searching for the beauty of the poet Lorca, who has been shot and buried in an unmarked shallow grave. As Spain spirals into civil war and political violence sweeps the stage, the show offers a breathless and intimate journey to the dark roots of tragedy. Presented by Mythography Collective with Macrobert Arts Centre, this devised theatre piece is described as the work of Edinburgh's newest ensemble, running for 50 minutes at the Former Women's Locker Room.
Why see this show?
A visceral piece of devised theatre set against the Spanish Civil War, told through the lens of a travelling company seeking a lost poet. Intimate, urgent, and grounded in real historical horror — a striking debut from a new Edinburgh ensemble.
