But Geraldine is facing financial ruin, Alan’s bowling success is perhaps not all that it seems, and a mysterious stranger has appeared in town with a thirst for revenge…

Bucksomly Betrothals is a new writing comedy from Theatre Paradok. Alan Rivers, a former bowling world champion, has a trophy, a semi-detached house in Milton Keynes and thinning hair — but he is alone. He enlists the help of Geraldine Bucksomly, owner of a matchmaking agency, to find love. Complications arise as Geraldine faces financial ruin, Alan's bowling success proves not all it seems and a mysterious stranger arrives with a thirst for revenge. The show runs for 50 minutes at Studio and is priced at £12.
