Big Dog is a 60-minute new writing comedy-theatre piece by Currie Productions, performed at Dram as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Eve lands a ghostwriting job for a major true crime podcaster. She is intelligent, has no interest in rising through the ranks, and has her own hidden agenda. As the boundaries between ethics, ambition and self-preservation blur, she becomes overly invested and increasingly implicated in the very systems she is questioning. The play interrogates the true crime industry, influencer culture and workplace politics, asking who gets to tell certain stories, who profits from them, and who bears the emotional consequences. Suitable for ages 14 and over.
