About Orange Claw Hammer
Orange Claw Hammer continue their mission to rework the music of Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band, bringing tunes from all the classic albums and reinterpreting them for the twenty-first century. Following gigs at Zappanale in Germany and Mosae Zappa in the Netherlands, the band return to the Fringe with vastly different sets each night. The group features Steve Kettey on saxes and vocals, Stuart Allardyce on guitar, Dave Beards on bass and Des Travis on drums. Described as psychedelic rock meeting free jazz and the blues, the show runs for 150 minutes at Back Cave (standing). It is for audiences aged 18 and over.
