About Wolfgang David and David Gompper
Vienna's leading violinist Wolfgang David, known for his beautiful sound, interprets Bach's Sonata No 1 and Partita No 1. He is joined by American composer and pianist David Gompper, who performs his own Réponse I. This is the first in a three-part series. David performs regularly in the world's most renowned concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, Musikverein, Suntory Hall, and Wigmore Hall. Gompper, a recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship, reaches an international audience through recordings and live performances with leading orchestras.
