About Alexis Sakellaris
Alexis Sakellaris is a musical comedian whose work-in-progress show revisits a defining chapter of his youth. Growing up dreaming of escaping rural Germany, he was cast in Wir Rocken Barcelona, a bona fide German Glee, alongside five other talented teens. The adventure took him to Spain, but things were not as they seemed — in-cast beef, problematic producers, and his own biggest secret all collided. The show features new original songs and unearthed footage.
Why see this show?
A sharply personal musical comedy about child stardom, secrets and the cringiest moments of growing up. Original songs and real footage make this work-in-progress feel genuinely alive. Ideal for anyone who loves comedy that goes somewhere unexpected.
