Alastair Savage returns to Canongate Kirk with a celebration of the Scots fiddle tradition, both ancient and modern. Joining him are long-time collaborators Euan Drysdale on guitar and piano and Iain Crawford on double bass, alongside special guests including BBC Proms in the Park solo piper Chris Gibb and woodwind player Linda Spears on flute, piccolo and whistle. Presented by Alastair Savage and Friends, this acoustic folk concert runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for ages 8 and over.
