A multi-generational company of Edinburgh-based women perform four of Alan Bennett’s iconic Talking Heads monologues: A Lady of Letters, A Bed Among the Lentils, Her Big Chance and Cream Cracker Under the Settee. With wit, poignancy and emotional precision, each actor brings a distinctive voice to Bennett’s portraits of loneliness, quiet desperation and resilient humour. Though rooted in the 1970s and 80s, these sharply observed character studies remain strikingly relevant.
