Afternoon Arias brings together some of Scotland's top operatic singers for a programme of French opera highlights from Bizet, Berlioz, Debussy and Gounod. International stars Brian Bannatyne-Scott (bass) and Beth Taylor (mezzo-soprano) are joined by three rising stars: Catherine Hooper (soprano), Magnus Walker (tenor) and Jonathan Kennedy (baritone). Accompanist Michal Gajzler, a Scottish-based Polish pianist, conjures up the sounds of a full orchestra on the grand piano.
