About the show
After the Fact is a new writing theatre show by Blue Bird Productions, performed at Lower Theatre during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Set in the eighties in Scotland during the Cold War, the play is inspired by true events and real experiences from one night in Peebleshire. Five scared and turbulent young women navigate the adversities and joys of life with the constant knowledge that their lives could be obliterated by nuclear war at any moment.
