About Two Destination Language
40/40 is a contemporary dance show by Two Destination Language at DB 3, running for 50 minutes and suitable for ages 14 and over. Performer Katherina Radeva celebrates 40 years as a woman, a migrant and an artist through joyous, abundant dance and personal storytelling. The work moves from the little girl dancing at her parents' student parties, to the teenage rhythm gymnast who was body-shamed, to the creative who refuses to be categorised — a choreography of all the joys and sorrows of 40 years. It is part of the MadeInScotland showcase. Tickets are £12 with a concession of £10.
Why see this show?
Katherina Radeva dances her own life — 40 years of joy, shame and refusal to be categorised — in an intimate and generous 50-minute piece that is as much personal testimony as it is contemporary dance.
