The Royal College of Nursing presents You Mean the World: Nursing in a climate crisis, a free exhibition at the Library venue. Running for 360 minutes, the exhibition explores the climate crisis through the history of air pollution and recycling and reuse in nursing, and how nursing teams are taking climate action today — from green social prescribing to developing sustainable nursing tools. It features archive photographs, historical and contemporary objects, and repurposed uniforms. Highlights include redesigned and repurposed medical gowns from PPE Refashioned, from AHRC-funded research led by Prof Katherine Townsend at Nottingham Trent University. Suitable for ages 12 and over; free admission.
