Book NowAbout the show
PY Dance Company with Chloe Dance Collective from China present two ensemble-driven physical theatre works in a single 50-minute programme at the main house. The first piece, Where Did the Wall in My Dream Go?, journeys through fragmented memories and elusive boundaries, blending dreamlike imagery with tightly choreographed ensemble work to explore the tension between resistance and collapse. The second, Shrimp Trap, delves into systems of control, power imbalance and the claustrophobia of unseen emotional traps. Together they blur the lines between reality and illusion.
Why see this show?
Two distinct but connected physical theatre pieces in one programme — rawly physical, psychologically layered and suitable for audiences from age 3 upwards. A strong double bill for those who like dance that says something.
