About the show
What's in the Kitchen is an immersive theatre show from La Troupe at the Bijou, presented as a tribute to Brazilian cuisine. Structured in five acts, each centred on one of the five senses — smell, hearing, sight, taste and touch — the show weaves together stories and memories from professional and amateur chefs who share their passion for food. Audiences not only hear the stories but also taste a selection of dishes and drinks made with locally sourced ingredients and Brazilian culinary touches. It runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for audiences aged 14 and over.
Why see this show?
Theatre, food and memory all in one room: a genuinely immersive experience where the audience tastes locally sourced dishes as part of a five-act journey through the senses. A delicious alternative to a standard Fringe show.
