About the show
Moreland Productions presents Waiting in Love, a contained experimental drama set entirely in Alan's apartment and spanning the course of a year after his first real heartbreak. Alan is a deadbeat stoner. Sam is his ex — as is Sammie, a struggling actor, and Samantha, an up-and-coming writer. Sam is Sammie, and Sammie is Samantha, and Alan waits for all of them to come back. This new writing piece explores the evolution of oneself after heartbreak, and in some cases the lack thereof, at The Vault in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Why see this show?
A clever, contained drama that follows one man's emotional stasis through three versions of the same ex — intimate new writing that finds real humour and pathos in the slowness of healing.
