VanagwenyaMbira – Vibes of the Drum! is presented by KPLesedi Drama and Cultural Crew, a student and youth company, at the Main Hall during Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025. This kaleidoscope of rhythm, colour and joy blends African traditional music, live performance, dance and dramatic storytelling into a feel-good journey through African ancestral wisdom, laughter and love. Bursting with youthful energy, spirit and unity, the show is described as more than a show — a cultural experience. Audiences are invited to let the spirit drum move them. The show runs for 120 minutes and is suitable for ages 5 and over. Audience participation is involved.
