About Scottish Storytelling Centre

Scottish Storytelling Centre bring Traditional Tales from Scotland to the George Mackay Brown Library as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Each session features a different storyteller sharing traditional tales from near and far — stories of fairies and selkies, castles and kelpies, drawn from traditions that have inspired writers, storytellers and artists throughout the centuries. Sessions are relaxed and run for 60 minutes. The programme is suitable for audiences aged 12 and above.
