Australian cellist and songwriter William Jack performs at Cathedral in a free, 60-minute solo show that redefines what the cello can do. The programme takes iconic songs by artists including The Beatles, Bob Dylan and Oasis, dismantles them and reimagines them for solo cello. These sit alongside original compositions from William's own album collection, This Old Cello Box. Drawing on his jazz guitar background, he blends virtuosic bluegrass, non-Western sound worlds and intimate melodies. Suitable for ages 8 and over.
