The Edinburgh International Magic Festival presents an immersive magic and history show set within Lauriston Castle, one of Edinburgh's hidden treasures, situated at the end of a winding driveway on the city's outskirts. Three magicians — Lewis Barlow, Brendan Dooley and Kevin Quantum — animate the castle's past with stories and illusions connected to its real history, including a High Court judge with a secret life as an alchemist and a gambler who nearly lost everything. Audiences move through the castle during the 75-minute experience, which is suitable for ages 8 and over.
