Hamish MacDonald and Liza Mulholland bring an alternative take on Scotland's national bard to the Main Room at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Their show blends bittersweet, comedic, and satirical songs drawn from and influenced by Robert Burns, with spoken word poetry woven throughout. Hamish is a songwriter and Scottish slam poetry champion who served as Scots Scriever at the National Library of Scotland and was the first Robert Burns Writing Fellow. Liza is a songwriter and musician with extensive performance and production experience across a range of cross-artform projects. The show runs for 60 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 and over.
