The Missing Horn is a 30-minute original work by young artists from Hong Kong, now based in the UK and Canada — Lee On Sang, Tse Wing Yan, and Chew Yu Yeung — presented at the Olive Studio at Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Inspired by the emotional themes of The Glass Menagerie, the piece explores the complex, often painful dynamics between mother and daughter through a rich blend of song, theatre and movement. It examines how love and control can become entangled, and the emotional journey of releasing expectations to allow space for freedom, individuality and transformation.
Why see this show?
Thirty minutes of devised work from Hong Kong artists now based abroad, drawing on The Glass Menagerie to explore control, love, and the space between them. Quietly ambitious and emotionally precise.
