About Parlapatões
The Mequetrefo is a family-friendly clown and circus show created by Brazilian theatre and circus company Parlapatões. Four clowns, called Dias — Portuguese for 'days' — embark on a journey through the day, filled with laughter and surprises. They break the rules of everyday life and discover endless possibilities, inspired by Edward Lear, the poet and illustrator who coined the term 'nonsense'. The show blends pantomime and clowning with rich visuals and sound effects, and runs for 60 minutes at Friesian. Suitable for children aged 3 and over.
