The Filthy Tongues emerged from the core of indie band Goodbye Mr Mackenzie, led by Martin Metcalfe. Their live show fuses gothic blues with alternative rock in a cinematic descent through Edinburgh's shadowy underbelly. Pounding rhythms, brooding melodies and razor-sharp storytelling combine to create a darkly magnetic experience. The band has released four albums, including Black Valentine, which charted at number 3 in the Scottish chart and number 37 in the official UK chart. Performances are standing throughout and contain strong language.
