The End of the Line
Edinburgh University Theatre Company • Student/Youth company
About the show
The End of the Line, by Edinburgh University Theatre Company, brings together six strangers stuck on a tube train as the world ends. A psychic, a musician, and a politician are among those dancing with death, armed with eighties pop hits and the looming shadow of nuclear disaster. Packed with old loves, last wishes, and existentialism, the show asks whether, at the end of it all, people are all we have. A comedy-drama with new writing.
Why see this show?
A high-concept premise — six strangers, a stranded tube, the end of the world — delivered with genuine heart. Student theatre at its most inventive, and great value for a sixty-minute show.
