The Dropbox is a new writing sci-fi drama from Washburn University Theatre, performed at theSpace @ Venue 45 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. After AI bots devastate Earth, a group of survivors board the last vessel escaping the planet, promised a future in a utopian civilisation. On the ship, subsistence packages and messages arrive in a dropbox — until the medical officer is found murdered. The hunt for the killer forces the survivors to question every choice they have made and who they will become in their new world. Running 50 minutes, the show is suitable for ages 12 and over with no content warnings.
