About New Voices
New Voices is an amateur company bringing a fast-paced theatrical extravaganza to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Two narrators attempt to recreate all 209 fairytales of the Brothers Grimm, combining them into one gigantic fable featuring Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin, Hansel and Gretel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and more obscure tales like Lean Lisa and The Devil's Grandmother. The result is complete mayhem across 60 minutes of family-friendly comedy theatre at Theatre 1.
Why see this show?
If you love fairytales, this show squeezes all 209 of them into a single wild hour. The chaos is the point — expect cartoon carnage, audience participation, and a gigantic fable that collapses in on itself gloriously.
