Tale of a Potato is an immersive tabletop puppet show by Italian company Batisfera, performed at Playground 3 during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Set on a wooden table with dirt, a knife and real vegetables, the show follows Protagonist, a potato, through the stages of life — being born, falling in love and working. Other tubers populate the story, each playing their part in a quirky and engaging narrative about the seasons of life. Batisfera are the creators of The Gummy Bears' Great War.
