During the World Wars, millions of women knitted for soldiers, and within days of the first shots being fired, knitting-themed songs began to appear. These songs were lost after the wars ended — but Melanie Gall has preserved them and given them new life. Audiences are invited to bring their knitting or crochet and stitch along to the live music.
