George Weir, a young violinist currently studying at the RCS in Glasgow, performs works by Bach, Handel and Corelli alongside an unaccompanied piece by the little-known Austrian composer Johann Vilsmayr. John Kitchen accompanies on the 1755 Kirkman harpsichord at The Concert Room. The programme includes Bach's Sonata in G BWV 1021, Handel's Sonata in D major and Corelli's Sonata op. 6 no. 5. Historical instruments are not amplified. The concert lasts 60 minutes.
