About Mermaids at the Fringe
Soul Sucking is a new piece of dark comedy theatre from Mermaids at the Fringe, a student and youth company. Eddie's post-university gap year has stretched into nearly four years and she has nothing to show for it — so before starting again, her first life needs a proper send-off. The audience is invited to the funeral, complete with music, requiems, a baptism and three friends navigating two new and old lives with one teeny tiny urn. The show runs for 50 minutes and is recommended for ages 16 and above.
