About the show
Shake Rag Hollow is a new drama from The Journey Company and New Light Theater Project. After serving 18 years in prison for her uncle's murder, Denise returns to her mother's home in a small mountain town and confronts the daughter she hasn't seen since birth. Laurel, now a college freshman raised by her grandmother, harbours deep resentment. Struggling with memory loss from her teenage addiction, Denise begins to question her own guilt after flashbacks while hiking Shake Rag Hollow. As buried secrets surface from the basement, the family must confront the past. Performed at Front Room, running 60 minutes, suitable for ages 16 and over.
