About Science Stories for Grown-Ups
Science Stories for Grown-Ups is a 55-minute theatre and storytelling show at the Stephenson Theatre, presented by the company of the same name at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025. Two scientists turned performers — Giulia and Richard — share their passion for wild ideas from science's back catalogue. Across five stories, topics range from fire to water and thermodynamics to the Twin Paradox. The performers anthropomorphise the scientific world, giving atoms personalities, adding emotions to chemical reactions and inserting the idiosyncrasies of science into the day-to-day. A full book of stories is available to buy at the end of the show. Age guidance is 14 and above.
