About the show
SCAPE is a multimedia new writing theatre show by Sill Productions, performed at Stephenson Theatre as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025. Running for 40 minutes and suitable for ages 12 and over, a girl summons her father through an old VHS, only to find his ghost waiting on the other side — alive. As home videos distort and childhood memories warp into something sinister, she must confront both the spirit of her father and the child-self she buried with him. Anchored by real home videos that serve as narrative and aesthetic touchstones and as a scene partner, the show blurs the line between living and lost. Tickets are £8, with a concession price of £6.
Why see this show?
A compact 40-minute ghost story that uses real home videos as both narrative anchor and scene partner. SCAPE is an unusual, atmospheric piece of new writing that blurs memory, grief and the uncanny in ways that feel genuinely inventive.
