For over thirty years, Carol Marples of Soul Marks Trust has been professionally engaged with art as a means of spiritual exploration and discovery. In addition to this five day exhibition of arresting work, Carol will guide participants in making and reflecting, bringing art and prayer together on the exhibition's theme in three morning workshops.

At The Undercroft during Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025, she presents Seeds of Hope — a five day free exhibition of painting and visual art exploring themes of faith, nature and spiritual reflection. In addition to the exhibition, Carol will guide participants in three morning workshops that bring art and prayer together, making the experience accessible to the expert and inexpert alike.
