Old Saint Paul's Church presents a two-day exhibition of church vestments, hangings and linens at their Church venue for Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Over many years, the Jacobite church of Old Saint Paul's has accumulated an exceptionally rich collection. The exhibition offers Edinburgh's residents and visitors the opportunity to see how beautiful cloth, intricate embroidery and superb needlework bring a distinctive artistic dimension to Christian faith and worship. Expert guides are on hand to explain the symbolism embodied in the fabric and the religious ceremonies in which these items are regularly used. Admission is free.
