Role Play (or the Hottest Day in Belgian History)
Cameron Murphy • Professional company
About Cameron Murphy
Cameron Murphy is an aspiring performer who swiped right on a Belgian tourist in Los Angeles. After a whirlwind romance she left, and Cameron spent his life savings on a ticket to Belgium to find her. In the Low Countries, taboo role play collides with life-altering memories when a late-blooming Cameron is cast as Daddy to his Babygirl. As Belgium gets dangerously hot, secret fantasies seep into bedroom scripts and force Cameron to confront whether it is better to act out or exorcise our darkest desires. A solo dark comedy at Ivy Studio.
Why see this show?
A brave, confessional solo show that weaves together desire, identity, and moral reckoning. The Belgian heat and the bedroom scripts make for an unsettling, darkly funny hour that stays with you long after you leave.
