In a discordant world, minds keep moving, too active for rest, bustling, sizzling all the time. Three performers strive to relax the mind – they exercise Chinese Qigong, physical movements and sound healing to detach from the thinking mind, achieving a peaceful balanced state where yin and yang, the sun and moon elements, are harmonised. The body can relax and not do anything apart from just be.

About the show

On/Off Theatre, an amateur company of three performers, presents a 45-minute physical theatre work at The Studio. Drawing on Chinese Qigong, physical movement and sound healing, the performers seek to quieten the busy, over-active mind and guide the audience toward a peaceful, balanced state. The show explores the ancient interplay of yin and yang — sun and moon elements — as a path to stillness and physical ease. Suitable for audiences from age 5 upwards.

Why see this show?
