About the show
Presented by 432 Presents, Pussy Riot: Riot Days is a touring play accompanying Maria Alyokhina's memoir of the same name published by Penguin Books. The Russian protest art collective gained global notoriety in 2012 when three members — Maria Alyokhina, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Yekaterina Samutsevich — were imprisoned for 'hooliganism motivated by religious hatred' for a performance inside Moscow's Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. The show merges punk, electronica, theatre, documentary footage and protest, running for 60 minutes at The Dissection Room.
